Tonight on Breaking Ground, we are joined by Dr Naledi Pandor, a distinguished South African leader whose career has taken her from education and academia to Parliament, Cabinet and senior public leadership. Dr Pandor served as a Member of Parliament for 30 years and held several Cabinet portfolios, including Education, Science and Technology, Higher Education and Training, and International Relations and Cooperation. She now serves as Chancellor of Nelson Mandela University and Chair of the Nelson Mandela Foundation. In this conversation, we reflect on her journey, the experiences that shaped her as a leader, the role of education in her life, and her experience as a woman in senior leadership. We will also look at what young people and university students can learn from her journey and her years of public service.
