President Zuma has received a salary increase! Despite opposition parties shouting in objection to the proposal, Zuma's salary has increased by about 5%, taking his renumeration to 2.7 m per year. The increase, however, almost did not happen. The ANC just managed to scrape together enough votes, with 203 voting in favour and 88 voting against.
