This year for Ramadan our staff decided to do something different and test their acting chops in a radio drama series, this series is a first-hand look into the life of a Muslim family in Cape Town which aims at showcasing the discussions and events that take place at the Kassims suhoor table. The series, KEEPING UP WITH THE KASSIM written and produced by Najma Bibi-Noor Mahomed. In todays episode we see Ali’s fiancé making an appearance. She is a white revert who is closely involved in community work and todays 6th episode looks at the family’s discussions on the state of the community.
