Ramadan 2014 is one Muslims will never forget. This week marks one year since the start of the bloody war between Israel and Hamas and the beginning of Israel’s operation, Protective Edge. During the ensuing 51 days more than 2200 people were killed in Gaza, including at least 551 children. 72 people died in Israel, including six civilians.
A report published on Monday by Save the Children, says 10% of the Palestinian children suffered permanent disability. Three-quarters of Gaza’s children experience unusual bedwetting regularly, while 89% of parents report that their children suffer constant feelings of fear, and more than 70% of children say they are worried about another war.
