The debate around Uber taxis in Cape Town has been heating up and
plans are now in place to introduce an 'e-hailing' by-law in Cape Town. Over the last few days, we saw Premier Helen Zille also weighing into the whole issue amid questions over the legality of Uber operating locally. I believe the provincial regulating entity is now considering operating licence applications for Uber drivers.
To discuss the issue is the spokesperson for the MEC of Transport, Siphesihle Dube
