Event: Change from within: Class, ethnicity & nationalism in Israel/Palestine

Open Shuhada Street South Africa is hosting Professor Ran Greenstein at Community House this August for a talk on the internal political landscape inside Israel itself. In the wake of the Ethiopian protests, and the impressive performance of the joint list in the elections, Ran will speak about how factors such as class, ethnicity and nationalism shape politics in Israel. He will also address the age of old question of whether change from within is really a possible scenario in Israel.
