Since Eid al-Adha on Thursday, thousands of animals have been slaughtered in the Western Cape. However, our news team has reported a disturbing trend in which qurbani farms were found to be flouting the law, and the very basic tenets of slaughtering in Islam.
This morning I will be chatting to Moyo Ndukwana, Chief Inspector for the SPCA in the Cape about their inspections over the past few days.
