Whilst many enjoy the amazing gift of sight, many people are visually impaired and are often on long waiting lists seeking medical attention. Cataracts are the most common cause of vision loss in people over age 40 and is the principal cause of blindness in the world. We welcome online Benita Petersen, the project co-ordinator for sight restoration, to share with us details of one of their projects.
