As you may know earlier this week we reported in our news that Corruption Watch has filed a case against SASSA at the North Gauteng High Court alleging improper procedures. Today also marks the deadline of the Constitutional Court order against SASSA to appoint a new social grant service provider after the court declared their contract with the Cash Paymaster Services (CPS) invalid.  
Yesterday SASSA was once again under the spotlight when members from the coalition for Hands off Our Grants campaign hosted a silent protest in the Cape Town CBD handing over a memorandum of demands to Department of Social Development and SASSA
