The #FeesMustFall protest is gaining momentum nationally as more students unite and speak up against the proposed fee hikes. Tertiary institutions are brought to a standstill. In alleged violent protest action, police used force and fired stun grenades to disperse the crowd. Thus far, protests have been reported at Wits, Rhodes University, UCT and the latest is the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
