Nigeria Market Bombings

At least 32 people have been killed and dozens more wounded in a blast at a market in the northeastern Nigerian city of Yola. The explosion occurred at a fruit and vegetable market beside a main road in the Jimeta area of Adamawa's state capital on Tuesday night. There was no immediate claim of responsibility but officials will likely pin the blame on the armed group Boko Haram which has killed thousands in its bid to create a state adhering to Islamic law in the northeast.
