Mail and Guardian - Investigative Report

It’s has been reported that President Jacob Zuma met with Western Cape gang bosses in 2011, in a bid to wrestle the province away from the Democratic Alliance (DA). The Mail and Guardian newspaper, in an exclusive investigative report says according to its sources, the meeting saw the underworld figures promise to rally their members to vote for the African National Congress (ANC), while Zuma allegedly offered to look into their troubles with Sars.
