On Monday, the Western Cape High Court dismissed with costs the appeal by the City of Cape Town of an earlier judgment against them in the South Road - MyCiti matter.  Acting Judge Leslie Weinkove denied the City’s application for leave to appeal a ruling he made in October, when he ordered the City to embark on a “meaningful public participation process” to discuss alternative MyCiTi routes. Weinkove’s judgment was handed down on October 12 and the City applied for leave to appeal on October 26. Joining us now is the spokesperson for the South Road Families Association, Laurie Peregrino.
