The TEARS Foundation has embarked on a unique campaign to spread awareness about gender-based violence for this year’s 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children. It’s called the #bangyourpot campaign and it urges South Africans to take a stand and speak out against domestic violence and sexual abuse using an age-old communication system.
