Gulam Bodi slapped with 20 year ban

South African cricket has been dogged by another match fixing controversy of late and yesterday, Cricket SA announced that cricket Gulam Bodi has been banned for 20 years. This after he admitted charges of contriving or attempting to fix matches during the tournament.

CSA CEO Haroon Lorgat addressed a press conference saying Gulam Bodi was "stopped" before any match-fixing had taken place during last year's Ram Slam T20 tournament.
