Now we know that the global economy is rather shaky at the moment and for South Africans, it will tough times ahead. Despite still being concentrated in the Middle East and Muslim nations of Southeast Asia, Islamic finance is continually spreading into non-traditional markets, namely East Asia including China and Japan, as well as Russia, Europe, Africa and, as of late, even South America. But it seems Islamic Finance is also on the rise in SA.
