South Africans often complain about the slow pace of the justice system in SA, but have you ever wondered what is the legal procedure when there is a murder in our country? Last year saw a spate of murders from PE teacher Jayde Panayotoui to Fatima Patel, and, in both cases the deceased spouses, have been accused of orchestrating their murders. VOC Journalist Najma Bibi Noor Mahomed speaks to Advocate James Grant who sheds some light as to the procedural matters in a murder investigation.
