District Six 50 year’s anniversary of dispossession

Today, 11 February marks fifty years since District Six had been declared a whites-only area under the Group Areas Act. As you may know the area is one of those unique spaces in the Country which The Department of Rural Development and Land reform is currently redeveloping for victims affected by the land dispossession.
