Look back at Commission of enquiry into policing resources in Khayelisha

The Khayelitsha Commission inquiry was established a few years ago and mandated to investigate complaints on allegations of inefficiency of the South African Police Service (SAPS) stationed at three police stations in Khayelitsha. This week we have seen how the public responded to the killing of the late Ms Sinoxolo Mafevuka, who was brutally raped and murdered in Khayelitsha and Franziska Blochliger whose body was found in Tokia Forest. We also saw an uproar from public who criticised the attention given to the Blochliger murder case and the subsequent visit of Deputy Minister of Police holding a briefing report on the murder case of the late Ms Sinoxolo Mafevuka Deputy Minister of Police in Khayelistsha. To help us make sense of this all we chat to Chumile Sali from Social justice coalition
