Good News: pupil from Athlone School for the Blind wins International Essay Com

In our good news segment we profile the achievement of a learner who despite not having the sense of sight managed to master his writing skills. Joel Greek, a 12 year old learner from the Athlone School for the Blind, recently won the International essay competition. The award was handed to him at the 38th annual Lions Day event at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City earlier this month. He joins us online
