MJC President Moulana Ihsaan Hendricks has announced that he will be stepping down after serving two consecutive terms as President of the Ulema body. The MJC will be holding it’s AGM on the 23rd of April after which elections will begin for new leadership. During his ten year term, Hendricks lead the way courageously through the Orion saga and raised the bar on Palestinian solidarity within the local Muslim community.
