Centre for Child Law and SGBs intervene in farm school closures
Loading player...
Children living on farms not only face various socioeconomic challenges, but often struggle to gain access to education, traveling great distances to get to school. For pupils from four schools in the Eastern Cape school the start to the new term was even more difficult after the department of education decided to close down their schools. The matter is currently being addressed by the Centre for Child Law and School Governing bodies who have come forward to intervene the closures.
