Goodhope Centre closed to community

As you may know the Goodhope Centre is well known for hosting community events. The Cape Malay Choir board and factory workers union are some of the organisation’s that made use of the facility for its annual events. This has however changes following the City of Cape Town decision to hire out the venue to a film company restricting public access to the centre. Last week a caucus debate ended with majority siding with the idea to transformed facility into a film studio.
