The Western Cape Government has issued a formal deman for clarity on the development of all policing units operating within the province. Premier Helen Zille was informed of concerns amongst Manenberh residents that visible policing had actually declined during gang violence that has raged on in the community since 31st March. And she claims its sabotage on the part of the national ministry of police. Well we resquested an interview with police commissioner Khombinkhosi Jula this morning, but received no reply from SAPS.
