Freedom Day : are we economically free?

Just this week, thousands of Abahlali base Mjondolo members attended a rally to show that the poor remain "unfree". They have called it the "Unfreedom Day" rally. In South Africa there are still 1.9 million households living in informal settlements - an increase of over 26% since 1996.
