The Illusion of Education for all

South Africa's education system has been described as dysfunctional and 'a national disaster' that performs poorly and lags far behind systems of much poorer neighbouring African countries that spent much less on education. Dr. Moeketsi Leketsa sets this against the backdrop that South Africa boasts of a constitution that is 'widely hailed as liberal and egalitarian'.
