
Racism action plan national consultative dialogue

The Department of Justice and Constitutional Development launched the national consultative dialogue event to mark the commencement of the public consultation process on the National Action Plan to Combat Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance. South Africa is mandated to produce a National Action Plan (NAP) to Combat Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance. The purpose of the National Action Plan to Combat Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance is to provide South Africa with a policy framework to address racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance at both a private and public level. This consultative dialogue marks the commencement of public consultations to rally members of the society to make constructive inputs towards the final document of the National Action Plan that will be submitted to Cabinet for approval.
