New regulations to end illegal deductions

In the last few months we have received numerous complaints from listeners who had been short changed after monies had been deducted from their social grants accounts. In some cases people have lost a portion of money while others were completely cash strapped. Well, the good news is that this will all soon come to an end because the Ministerial Task Team on Deductions set-up by the National Department of Social Development have made progress and new regulations were recently introduced to stop these illegal activities.
