Social Justice Coalition - Mayor De Lille Budget Speech and sanitation

The City of Cape Town has defended claims about the recent Budget Plan disadvantaging the poor and alleged that those who oppose the budget might not fully understand the actual planning process and allocations of the budget. The Social Justice Coalition is one of the organisations voicing concerns about lack of proper water and sanitation infrastructure in informal settlement and handed over a petition to the Mayor a day before she presented her budget to council.
