Sustainability, that admirable condition that we all strive for, means different things in different contexts. And it’s in the context of energy efficiency that I'm talking this week.
Cities account for most of the consumption of energy – about 70 percent worldwide, and one of the major sectors of energy consumption, spread across business and home, is heating and cooling. Now that temperatures are falling a bit as we head into Autumn, you’re probably thinking of dusting off those heaters, gas or electric, or you should already have ordered the smokeless firewood for the cute little black stove that sits in the fireplace.
