While South Africans might be struggling to survive amidst the tough economic climate. The healthcare system of the country is not looking very good and civil society organisation are not keeping quiet about the problems in the public and private sectors which include fragmentation, the split between private and public health services, inequality in access, inefficiency, and poor quality of care. Various organisations gather to at the Western Cape Provincial Health Assembly earlier this week.
