It's World Oceans Week - and the spotlight is on all aspects of marine conservation. Things are not good. For instance the Great Barrier Reef just off the coast of Australia is bleached out by rising temperatures. If a big rescue operation and bold mitigation steps are not taken soon, it might be too late - not just a blow for a major tourist attraction, but for the eco-balance of the oceans as well. A leading Aussie researcher at James Cook University pulls no punches.
