During the month of Ramadan Muslims abstain from food and drink. The month is also regarded as a blessed period in which it is recommended for the fasting person to give charity (Zakah) if they are by the means to do so. Whilst some might prefer to personally hand over charity to people who are in needs, others might entrust their Zakah in a NGO to use for their relief projects. So just do NGO make sure that Zakah is being appropriately used, Well VOC journalist Umarah Hartley spoke to various relief organisations and filed this report
