The Cresent Observers Society of South Africa, known in Cape Town as the Maankykers as well as the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC) will be gathering at Three Anchor Bay in Sea Point tonight for the annual sighting of the moon for Eidul Fitr. The event has become a popular attraction on the Islamic Calendar and draws scores of people who anxiously wait to hear if Muslims in South Africa will celebrate Eid tomorrow.
