Solomon plans to building shopping mall on reclaimed land

Last week we picked up the story of the Solomon family who reclaimed their farm land in Constantia. The family trust has since proposed plans of developing the land into a shopping mall. This has however resulted in the Constantia Ratepayers and Residents Associations online petition to have the community in the area share their comment the online poll. The reactions to the family’s ideas have been both negative and positive and as a result the family recently met with the association. For feedback on the meeting we chat to Rashaad Solomon, founder of the Solomon Family Trust and one who initiated the claim process for the land on behalf of the family
