Community Teamwork Could Improve Flood Management In Cape Town
Loading player...
During the winter period people from informal settlements not only have to brave the cold weather in poor housing structures but are also at risk of floods. Areas which are flood prone might also have a range of challenges including service delivery, infrastructure and access to proper resources. A recent case study conducted by Joy Waddell explores how combined efforts between various stakeholders in the community could help improve flood risk management in informal settlements.
