
Systemic tests disrupted

We know that the South African Democratic Teachers Union (Sadtu) is up in arms over the systemtic tests being written in Grades 3, 6 and 9 and last week, it was reported that protesters disrupted the tests at three schools on the West Coast. This despite a high court ruling that disruptions are unlawful.It’s uncertain what action will be taken next. The Western Cape education department’s head of communication Paddy Atwell joins us now… we also tried to contact Sadtu yesterday, but their spokesperson couldn’t be reached…
