Alleged coup plot in SA

The man accused of plotting a coup in South Africa made his first appearance in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court this morning. The 33 year old man was arrested on Wednesday in Midrand, by the Hawks for allegedly plotting to assassinate cabinet ministers and other prominent South Africans.
It’s being reported that President Jacob Zuma and four Gupta family members were on the hit list. Hawks' spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi says big companies and individuals were approached by the suspect to fund his plot.
