Jane on ADHD: to medicate or not to medicate

Parents who have children who suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) have to come to a point in their lives where they decide if medication is required or not. I am one of those mothers who fought for years to not medicate my child. We went the route of extensive assessments, consults with different paediatricians, natural tonics, change in diet, and still the words 'not coping' and 'extremely distracted' came up followed by those letters ADHD. Then I read a letter from Jessica McCabe, who used to suffer from the condition. Wow, take a listen.
