Women’s Month - Focus on exceptional women

In keeping with Women’s Month, the focus is of course on exceptional women. This morning we chat to Dr Funelwa Ngece-Ayaji, a senior lecturer in Physical Chemistry at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) and originally from Khayelitsha. She is someone proud of her background and has committed to making a positive change in the community she comes from by promoting Science as a career option to high school learners. She leads a group of fellow academics through hands-on projects to spark an enthusiasm for science.
