Last week South Africa turned a new page in its political history as President Cyril Ramaphosa became the new head of state, this shortly after the resignation of former President Zuma. The change of leadership was largely welcomed and the much awaited State of the Nation Address that had been postponed earlier this month, finally took place last Friday.
This year’s SONA was an momentous one, as it had been delivered by the newly elected president and outlined where South Africa is heading to as a nation.
