Mitchells Plain resident shot at Siqalo protest still in hospital

Over the weekend, we were contacted by Raafiqah Ganger, a relative of one of the bystanders/protestors in Mitchells Plain who was shot during last weeks protest. As we know, SAPS public order police tried to disperse the crowd, with reports of tear gas and live round being fired.

Now one of the protestors, Tazleem Adams was shot in the leg and he was admitted to Groote Schuur hospital on Wednesday night. But the family had some issues in trying to get him emergency medical attention.
