South Africa's decision to withdraw the its Ambassador from Israel has been welcomed by the Palestinian Solidarity Movement in SA, but certainly there questions around South Africa's broader foreign policy approach to the Palestine – Israel conflict. The decision comes on the back of a resolution from the ANC's Nasrec Conference where they resolved to immediately and unconditionally down grade the SA embassy in Israel. We are now joined by Prof Salim Valley from the Palestinian Solidarity Movement.
