
Nampak H1 HEPS from continuing ops up 10%

Packaging firm, Nampak released its interim results today, revenue grew by a marginal 2% while headline earnings per share from continuing operations increased by 10%, trading profit is up 7% and the group managed to extract R1.3 billion from Nigeria, Angola and Zimababwe and expects cash generation from these areas to grow following an expected economic recovery in those regions. No dividend has been declared for the interim period. Andre de Ruyter, CEO of Nampak joined us to discuss the factors driving the numbers.
