Public unhappy over closure of Kildare Road Springs

Local businessman Riyaz Rawoot campaign against the closure of the popular natural water collection point in Newlands has failed. This after the City of Cape Town recently demolished the improvised piping system with 26 water points installed by Mr Rawoot

Last year Rawoot launched mobilised the community to sign a petition to curb the city from blocking access to free water collected by the public at the the collection point in Spring Way, off Kildare Road.
