City Sightseeing Company is Carbon Neutral & Sustainable!

The Carbon Neutral Bus Company

The City Sightseeing buses are red – and you can’t mistake them as they ferry overseas and local tourists around every day to our very sight-worthy sites, too numerous to mention, but Signal Hill and Kirstenbosch figure high on the list.
They also provide boat tours to Robben Island.

Not only is the company a success in the burgeoning tourist industry sector- it’s also Carbon Neutral and strives for best sustainable practice.

John Richards talked to City Sightseeing CEO, Paul Nel. He describes the company’s environmental sustainability philosophy, the carbon neutral accounting practice, and in-house water usage and harvesting practices, as well as PV electricity supplementation.
