Following the court judgment last year in which the Western Cape High Court's dismissed the court application filed by a group of homeowners and the Knysna Ratepayers’ against the construction of the mosque.

The next phase of the building process will finally commence after the Knysna Municipality gave the approval for the building plans submitted by the Knysna Muslim Council
