
SARB less confident of VBS Mutual bank's future

The South African Reserve Bank is less confident about saving VBS Mutual Bank which was placed under curatorship in March. The Sarb and Treasury has guaranteed more than R300 million in retail deposits at VBS, municipalities however will not get their money back.
