Kidnapping for Ransom crime on the rise in Cape Town

The number of apparent ransom extortion kidnapping in Cape Town has increased over the last two years.
In the recent kidnapping Liyaqat Parker, a prominent businessman, abducted by five suspects in a bakkie at his business premises in Parow.
