
Lavender Hill receives baby saver to address unsafe abandonment

The Philisa Abafazi Bethu South Africa organisation in Lavender Hill is the recent recipient of the baby saver project. An initiative facilitated by Project Life aimed at preventing the unsafe abandonment of babies in South Africa.
In the latest incident, the body of a newborn baby was found dumped in the Capricorn area and is currently under investigating.
